Rob DuMerton is the most recent addition to the Jenkins Marzban Logan team. Rob primarily works in the areas of commercial and construction litigation. His practice involves working with general contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers in all aspects of construction claims and contract disputes.

Dinyar Marzban has been appointed Chair of the provincial branch of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He is one of only two family lawyers in B.C. who have been admitted to the College.
On May 10, 2011, Jenkins Marzban Logan LLP hosted its’ biennial Construction Law Update at the Hilton Hotel in Burnaby. The event was well attended, with approximately 300 clients and friends of the firm joining JML’s construction lawyers for a hot breakfast followed by a discussion of recent construction law developments.
On April 15, 2011, John Logan and Don Thompson presented at the Continuing Legal Education Seminar on Construction Law which was held in Vancouver, B.C. The Seminar was co-chaired by John.

In addition to being one of Canada’s leading construction lawyers, Bob Jenkins, Q.C. can hit a pretty decent golf ball. To prove it, Bob went out to the Predator Ridge golf course in Vernon for the grand opening of its new course and promptly recorded the course’s very first hole in one. The two different construction management forms of agreement reflect the development of the construction management concept in the industry, distinguishing between the traditional “Owner’s Agent” approach (the CCDC 5A form) and the increasingly common “Construction Manager at Risk” approach (the CCDC 5B form). Scott Booth spoke at the Canadian Federation of Law Societies National Family Law Program, held in Victoria, BC, July 12-15. Scott presented his paper on the Spousal Support Advisory Guidelines.
As of July 1, 2010, a new set of Rules of Court will apply to Supreme Court proceedings in British Columbia. The new Rules will have a significant effect on litigation in this province and will apply to ongoing litigation commenced prior to July 1, 2010. Angela Santoro joined the JML family law group in March 2009. Angela obtained degrees in commerce and law at Queen’s University. She was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2006 and was practicing at Hunter Litigation Chambers in Vancouver.
Scott Booth has become the firm’s newest partner, effective January 1, 2009. Scott joined JML in 1999 and is a member of the family law group. He is a past chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s Vancouver chapter of the Family Law Section and is a member of the editorial board of the Family Law Sourcebook for British Columbia.
