Trevor O’Connor
Summer Student

Trevor is currently completing JML’s summer articling program, and will be returning to JML to complete his articles after graduating from law school in the Spring of 2022.

Prior to starting with JML, Trevor spent several years working as a carpenter in the residential construction industry to help fund his undergraduate and law school studies. In an effort to combine his two passions, he is focused on learning the unique ins and outs of the construction law practice, as well as gaining practical experience in the firm’s other areas of expertise.

Since beginning at JML, Trevor has had the opportunity to draft demand and settlement letters, advise clients on project structure decisions, make chambers applications, and draft various court documents. Whether assisting with a construction dispute, commercial litigation, or a family matter, Trevor believes in the value of hard work, efficiency, and creativity.

Outside of his work, Trevor enjoys skateboarding, building, and spending time with friends and family.
